What Is Love?
Ep 1 : The Meeting
Finally! All this years that I've been waiting for! I can finally afford myself to go visit South Korea! Gotta admit, this is so exciting. Plus, this will be my first ever solo travel. I'm 20 this year, but it doesn't mean that I can't travel by myself. Plus, I've got some experiences from the past. Studying abroad, far away from family somehow made me independent enough.
After 6 hours on the plane, I finally managed to put my first step on the land of Korea. Omg! There's so many things that I want to do! I need to plan my schedule properly as I don't want to miss visiting any place at all.
After checking in, I took an hour rest in the hotel room. When my eyes finally fresh again, it is just about 4 o'clock in Korea's time. "Let's go for a walk" I said to myself. Going to the nearest roadside market, searching for food to eat, I really wish I could find toppokki, the famous roadside snack in Korea. When I finally found one, I bought about 2 sticks of fishcake and 1 bowl of toppokki. "Olmalneyo?" I ask the ahjumma who sells it. After paying the price, I am getting ready to eat it at the table provided by the ahjumma when someone wearing a face mask comes to the stall and stands besides me.
"Ahjumma, please give me 1 bowl of toppokki and 1 fishcake," he says with a soft voice.
I wonder why does he needs to wear those face mask. Isn't it suffocating? Then I realize that he might be one of the famous idol, that's why he needs to disguise himself.
By then, I accidentally look at his face. Then somehow he turns to see me as well, and our eyes meet each other. When I realize that, I look away hurriedly, my face turn red. I'm blushing that bad.
"Omg his eyes are too small, I never know that he was looking at me as well!" I whispered to myself. "Pichoso! Why did I even look at him like that!" I murmur softly while putting the food on the table.
When I turn to see him again, I can clearly see he's paying for the food. After he's done paying, I quickly turn my face to my food. Then I realize somebody is sitting down on the chair that is at the same table that I am eating my food. He put down his toppokki bowl there. I still don't lift up my face to see who is sitting facing me.
"Wegure? Did i take his table?" I wondered. I collected all my spirit to lift up my face when I see the same guy that I was looking a few seconds ago is right in front of me. He still wears his face mask though. I am extremely shocked but I keep my straight face as I am chewing my food.
He turns his head around a few times before he opens the face mask. The place is somewhat secure from people and is actually a good hiding place. I am still in wonders and keep blinking my eyes in wonder. "Is he really an idol? But why would he sits here? There's some other place he can find".
The truth surprised me that I almost scream.
"Kang Daesung!"
